Hand-woven Flokati rugs have been a tradition in Greece for centuries, and this rug is the prime example of quality and decadence. The 100% New Zealand wool is subjected to tremendous amounts of water pressure for 40 hours in friction baths connected to the Pindos Mountain waterfalls. The water causes the pile to swell, and the rug is then dried naturally. This premier rug boasts a weight of 4000 grams/m2 and a voluminous four-inch pile height. You simply can't pack in more fibers per square inch. This rug is the heaviest of Flokati rugs and will make you feel like you're walking on a cloud.
